Zero waste is a unique way one looks at resources – one of the forward looking relevant and profound ways that modern societal change is envisaged in the world today. The programme focuses on building capacities in governments and communities to manage waste more responsibly and scientifically. It also encourages responsible production and consumption of resources to minimize wastage.

NSS Unit of the college participated Cleaning Campaign organized by EdathalaGrama Panchayath on 9th May 2023 at Koyeli Mala near Edathala Arabic College. This program inaugurated by Smt. PreejaKunjumon President of Edathala Grama Panchayath; Mr.AjeeshStanding Committee Chairman of Health Department; Mr.Joshi, Health Inspector; Ward Members;  NSS Programme officers and teachers were also present in the programme.

25 NSS students were participated in the programme. This programme help the students to aware about various problems relating to through away garbage waste,and also students identify the persons who dump waste into public place.


Mrs. Preeja Kunjumon, President, Edathala Grama Panchayat inaugurated the programme.
